Swift’s new look made its most recent appearance on the February cover of Vogue, with Swift in a wide-rimmed floppy hat, her deep blues sparkling against her daffodil shirt.

Though the year is still alive and kicking, rumors have already begun churning about hot happenings that may take place in 2012 — for instance, Taylor Swift‘s Vogue cover. According to talk around the web, the 22-year-old singer is said to be the face of the February issue.

There’s been a lot of controversy lately over models whose photos are airbrushed to make them appear ridiculously thin, but Vogue Italia can at least say the cover of its September issue didn’t involve any digital tricks. That’s Stella Tennant, an actual real-live model. In a corset. That gives her a 13-inch waist.
