The unending gift of Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential bid had many wondering if the billionaire’s Celebrity Apprentice had come to an end, and NBC has at last made the split official. Following Trump’s racist remarks causing a schism from Univision, NBC has completely severed any and all ties to Trump.

Watching TV has become strange for me lately. It seems as though the sparkle of all the programs I used to watch has worn off. Shows like 'American Idol', 'NCIS', 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition', the 30 different Law & Order shows and others have all become less important to me than they were a few years ago. The same hold true for 'The Apprentice'.
