Mother of Sandy Hook School Shooting Victim Delivers Inspirational Message in “Sandy Hook: Evil Did Not Win” Video

It's been a year since the Sandy Hook massacre took place, as a lone gunman walked into the small town elementary school. When it was all over he had killed 26 people (20 children) and himself. As a parent, my thoughts are often brought to wonder how the families left to deal with this tragedy are coping with this unthinkable act of evil. There's a video featuring the mother of one victim that lets us know evil did not win on December 14, 2012.

Andy Griggs Talks About His Song ‘Twenty Little Angels’ and What it Means to Him

Andy Griggs agreed to do a special promotion, where he takes a test drive in a new car and he talks about his music. The subject during this test drive is his brand new song called 'Twenty Little Angels' of which all the money made from the song, Andy is donating to the victims and families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy. Andy says "this song really is special to me, because of the tragedy and it's touched a lot of lives and it touched mine first." Griggs said "but it goes deeper than that."

Andy Griggs’ New Song ’20 Little Angels’ Honors the Children of Sandy Hook Elementary [AUDIO]

When I first learned of what was happening at an elementary school in Connecticut, I was numb. I didn't know what to say and my heart felt like it was being jerked out of my chest, I felt for everyone there. To this day, I still don't know the words that could ever express my condolences. Today I just heard a song that had me in tears, a song that said what I've been feeling. The song moved me so much that I wanted to share it with you. The best part is, Andy Griggs is donating 100% of the proceeds to the Sandy Hook Fund. Now grab a tissue and give it a listen.

Local Girl Scouts Remember Their Sister Scouts Who Were Vicitims in the Sandy Hook School Shooting in Connecticut

The Girls Scouts are best known for their cookies, however, it is their service to community that they should be recognized for. This Saturday June 5th the local Girl Scouts will be remembering their sisters from Newtown, Connecticut. Many of the small victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting were also Girl Scouts or family members of Girl Scouts.
