Jason Aldean and Scotty McCreery led the way with the studio albums, but it might have been Little Jimmy Dickens who stole the headlines with a strange story of identity theft. Darius Rucker also had some Opry-related news, and a country music legend is fighting for his life after a bladder infection puts him in the hospital.

There were some wild country music headlines this week, but all news wasn't bad news for the format's biggest stars. Keith Urban was caught in the middle of an expletive-filled feud between his 'American Idol' judging partners. Taylor Swift was caught in the middle of mean-spirited pranksters and a school for the deaf. At least one of these stories had a happy ending.
