Aaron Vannoy the Director for Abilene Animal Control Shelter said, "Cowboy was adopted by Danielle Molina on Saturday afternoon just before we closed. Can you help us save Rusty? This young (about a year old) wire-hair terrier is smart, very lovable, extremely cute and he doesn't have much time left. From the minute I saw Rusty, he looked at me, as if to say, "Hey buddy, do you need a friend to talk to?" He just looks like he'd make an awesome loyal companion and here's how you can make this little critter your best friend.

Friday the 13th turned out to be a lucky day for a lot of animals in West Texas as the SPCA, Rescue the Animals, the North Shore Animal League and yours truly teamed up to rescue at least 100 kittens, puppies, cats and dogs from being put to sleep. Animal shelters from all over West Texas turned out for the event and so did thousands of west Texans.

It's one thing to teach your children to say grace before their meals, but your dog? This has got to be one of the coolest videos of a dog joining in on saying grace that I have ever seen. I can't even get my dog to sit or stay, let alone to come and say grace. To sum it all up in two words, "too cute".
