Jared Marcum, an 8th grader in Logan, County West Virginia, has been expelled from school, arrested and is facing charges of disrupting an educational process and obstructing an officer. The "Friends of NRA" is a group that hold fundraisers, such as banquets, for the 'future of shooting sports'. Friends of NRA banquets are known for three things- fun, fellowship, and fundraising. Last year alone, there were over 1,070 Friends of NRA events across the country raising over $20 million dollars for The NRA Foundation.

Locally, the next "Friends of NRA" banquet is scheduled for June 29th.

Chuck Schumer and other NY politicians yesterday, Apple changed the age limit for the National Rifle Association's controversial target-shooting game NRA: Practice Range. The free app was originally rated 4+ and deemed suitable for children 4 years and up, but is now rated 12+ for children 12 and up.
