'Jupiter Ascending,' the Wachowski's follow-up to 'Cloud Atlas,' has begun filming with Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum in the lead roles. While we've been keeping track of the project through casting reports, we still had no official word on what it was actually about. Now Warner Bros. has released its first plot synopsis for us, along with the confirmed casting roster.

In 'Oz the Great and Powerful,' Oscar (James Franco) finds exactly what his heart desires; the chance to be a great man, wealthy and powerful, the ruler of a beautiful kingdom. And the kingdom does look damn good, and most of Oz's adventures in it are pretty entertaining as well.

'Oz: The Great and Powerful' is one of the most anticipated movies of 2013. Where 'The Wizard of Oz' introduced the movie-loving world to Dorothy, the book turned Broadway musical 'Wicked' centered on the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda, this new look at the Land of Oz gives us a look at the man we all know as the Wizard (whose real name apparently is Oscar Diggs). But that doesn't mean the other classic characters don't play a crucial part.
