Mickey Mouse

Between his debut in 1928's Steamboat Willie and the beginning of 1930, Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse had appeared in fifteen critically acclaimed and commercially successful short films --- so it should be no surprise that the high-powered world of newspaper comics soon came calling. King Features approached Disney about licensing the characters, and on January 13, 1930, the Mickey Mouse comic strip was born.

Following up on our earlier story from this morning, Junction Point Studios, the developer behind the Disney Epic Mickey franchise has been shut down.

Junction Point, the developers behind Disney's Epic Mickey and Epic Mickey 2, has reportedly closed down. Rumors of their demise circulated after the sub-par sales of Epic Mickey 2, and tweets from prominent members of the gaming industry confirmed the report.

Well leave it to someone to try to commercialize and profit from our soldiers.  Disney wants to trademark the "SEAL Team 6" name.  Just a few days after the raid and killing of Osama Bin Laden the Disney corporation filed for a trademark on the name.

The Chilean miners who spent more than 2 months trapped below the surface will be in Orlando visiting the wonderful world of Disney!!  They were invited by the president of the Disney corporation.  The visit will also include the group of miners getting to lead the Disney Parade as Grand Marshals...
