The concert will raise funds to grow the Orchestra Studies Endowed Scholarship established in 2010. Michael Martin Murphey is being inducted into the 'Traditional Country Music Hall of Fame' during the 37th Annual National Old Time Country, Bluegrass and Folk Music Festival taking place in Le Mars, Iowa from August 27th thru September 2nd. Murphey, known for his work in the Country, Folk and Americana music genres over the last four decades, is going into the Hall of Fame Thursday, August 30th, along with several other notable artists being inducted during the festival.
