The internet has been having a lot of fun with the Mars Curiosity Rover landing. There were a whole bunch of memes. And, of course, there’s mohawk guy Bobak Ferdowsi, who’s successfully bridged the gap between geek and punk.

But the real fun is going to begin when we start to getting hold of more of the photos and videos Curiosity is going to beam back to earth.

Mars Cuts King-Size Candy Bars

Mars Inc., makers of Snickers and M&Ms, announced Thursday it will phase out the king-size version of its candy bars, the Chicago Tribune reports. The candymaker will stop shipping bars that contain more than 250 calories by the end of 2013. The company’s chocolate brands include Snickers, Twix, 3 Musketeers, Milky Way, M&Ms and Galaxy. [...]

Space Shuttle Replacement Revealed

I wrote a couple of weeks ago about the space shuttle being on it's last couple of missions and wondered aloud what was next for NASA. Well it seems they've already been working on the shuttle replacement and while it's still in it's infancy, the model is being built and then will move on to more rigorous testing.
