Robert Rodriguez's 'Machete Kills' is back on track after a potentially disastrous lawsuit threatened to shut down production entirely, and one aspect of the film we can all look forward to is the return of multiple characters from the first film. Danny Trejo's Machete is rarely -- if ever -- squaring off against a foe he can't handle, but that has changed with a lawsuit that has put the badass in danger of being shut down.

Overnight Productions, which produced the original 'Machete' as well as the sequel 'Machete Kills,' is looking to cut ties with Robert Rodriguez, director of both pictures, and is seeking $2 million in damages for various alleged wrongdoings. And this could well see 'Machete Kills' shelved for the foreseeable future.
