Earlier this week I asked the question what do you do while on the toilet?  Then I took your responses and created a poll, and it looks like 50% of you said you read while sitting there. Reading could include, magazines, newspapers or books.

We recently asked you what the appropriate is age for a kid to have a Facebook profile. We got some great answers, and a lot of strong opinions about what is best for our children. In the end, nearly half of Abilene agrees with Facebook, and 13 is a good age for a child to have a profile on the social network site.

There's a study that shows women are 37% more likely to go to a psychiatrist than men. This statement alone leaves a lot to wonder. Personally, I wonder why this is the case. There are several logical reasons, and I'd like to have your help sorting this out.

June is National Potty Training Awareness Month. I am intrigued by the fact that there is a month dedicated to sharing information on how to make the process from diaper to toilet as easy and painless to everyone involved in the process.

I have a son who is 12, and he asked me one of those difficult questions the other day. "Dad, can I get a Facebook profile?". I was unprepared. I told him I would think about it and let him know. That bought me some time to ponder the question: "What is the appropriate age for a kid to have a Facebook profile?"

What do you do in the bathroom when you must be there for a certain length of time? You know, while you're sitting on the "porcelain throne". Do you like to read, play on your phone or iTouch, listen to music, write on the walls?  We all do something while we are sitting there so fess up and tell us what you do while sitting on the potty.

The National weather service and our local weathermen all agree, 'temperatures in Abilene and for the most part Texas, have been extremely mild this winter and spring'.
