‘Game of Thrones’ Writer Bryan Cogman on Adapting THAT Huge Stark Return
For as often as Game of Thrones fans have questioned whether Season 6 may indeed spoil George R.R. Martin’s unpublished books, a major twist from Sunday’s “Blood of My Blood” may have answered a literary mystery sixteen years in the making. Now, writer Bryan Cogman opens up to explain that significant Sunday return, touching on whether or not to expect the same twist in The Winds of Winter or beyond.

New HBO NOW Releases: June 2016
Game of Thrones Season 6 comes to an end in June (so soon!), but luckily HBO NOW has plenty of viewing options to help keep you occupied during your annual mourning period. Next month brings the premiere of HBO’s new weekly series Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons, hosted by the renowned sports analyst, author and ESPN vet. Cinephiles, meanwhile, will be thrilled to see the addition of Ridley Scott’s The Martian and (maybe) David Cronenberg’s Maps to the Stars. But more importantly, the epic Problem Child trilogy is coming to HBO NOW in June, giving you a chance to engage in a fierce familial debate over the finer points of Junior’s schemes — surely a more contentious topic than the resurrection of Jon Snow.

We’ve seen numerous “controversies” of actors male and female showing (or not showing), but as far as last night’s spectacular Daenerys fire-walk, Emilia Clarke herself wants you to know that no CGI was required of her latest nude scene.

Relieved though we are to have all those Jon Snow shenanigans behind us on Game of Thrones, we’ll admit that stars and producers did an admirable job clinging to the barely-there secrecy of Kit Harington’s return. Well, all except Harington himself, perhaps, who apparently spoiled the good news to a police officer in exchange for getting off with a warning.

Debate rages as to how far Game of Thrones Season 6 will veer away from George R.R. Martin’s literary Song of Ice and Fire, but few would argue that HBO has taken more liberties than with Dorne, following a tremendous shift in the premiere. And while we wait for Martin’s Winds of Winter, the author takes us back to the real Dorne with a new chapter, and an update on the release.
