In 1986 Dan Seals made his mark in country music by scoring two chart topping songs that summer. In early June, the Dan Seals song "Bop" owned the airwaves, but by the end of summer the pop turned country artist was back on top with his song "Everything That Glitters (Is Not Gold)". "Bop" went on to become Dan's most successful song ever and while both were nominated for several awards in 1986. the song "Bop" won the 'Song Of The Year' award from the Country Music Association. But 1986 also had other amazing songs like it.

Hank Williams, Jr. Turns Iowa State Fair Stage Into Political Platform, Makes Jabs at President Obama
