June 12, 2012 A group of Abilene area citizens that call themselves 'Tank Tops & Flip Flops', will be hosting a fundraiser for a couple of area volunteer fire departments. This year the Potosi and Buffalo Gap V.F.D.'s will be the beneficiaries.

However, for one Tennessee community that just doesn't happen, unless you've paid your yearly dues. They will literally let your house burn to the ground as they watch and do nothing.
June 4, 2011 Trace Adkins was on the road getting ready to perform at a concert when fire broke out at his Brentwood Tennessee home. While Trace was not there, his wife and children were. Firefighters say the fire was called in Saturday at 3:45 PM.
