Meet Piper the Alaskan husky mix that was turned in by his owner because they are moving. Piper is only 6 months old and is good with children and other pets. He's full of energy according to Kelsey Loza, Rescue Coordinater for the Abilene Animal Control Shelter. Loza says "Piper is such a sweetheart that he deserves a second chance at life." Walt was picked up by Abilene Animal Control Services on May 29th. He was found stray over in the Lytle Estates area but no owner has come to claim him. Hope and Faith are two beautiful dogs that need a gentle touch and a lot of love. Here's their story, they're two female pointers from a breeder in Albany that raises and trains hunting dogs. Hope and Grace were turned in because the breeder thinks they're too small for breeding stock. They've already begun their training and hunted this past season. Please help save our "KEAN Critters"
