Robert De Niro, Uma Thurman and Christopher Walken Start ‘The War With Grandpa’ in New Comedy
In the ’70s, Robert De Niro and Christopher Walken starred in the seminal Vietnam War film The Deer Hunter. It ranks among the more harrowing entries in an already brutal genre, unflinchingly depicting the conditions of abject inhumanity in the war zone and then bringing the trauma home to spiritually gut a declining Pennsylvania industry town. A lot has taken place since then, however. We’re now living in a post-Dirty Grandpa world. The news of another collaboration between De Niro and Walken no longer heralds an intense drama with awards potential in its very DNA. They’re now the twin titans of Grandpa Cinema, and their latest project has to reflect that.

‘Nine Lives‘ Clip: Christopher Walken Is a Cat Whisperer in This Year’s Weirdest Movie
Tickled may very well be the craziest documentary we see this year, but Nine Lives is already gunning for the title of Most WTF Film of 2016 — it may even outdo Gods of Egypt in the bafflingly bonkers department. To wit: Here’s a new clip from the upcoming film, in which Kevin Spacey is stuck in the body of a cat and Christopher Walken is the only one who can communicate with him because he’s a cat whisperer. Yes, really.

Wow. This is actually happening. Kevin Spacey is starring in a movie (called Nine Lives) where a wealthy businessman is turned into a cat (called “Mr. Fuzzypants”) because according to Christopher Walken (playing “Christopher Walken”), he hasn’t been there for his family and he’s going to be “stuck inside this cat” until he makes things right...

I will be watching ‘Peter Pan Live’ tonight and I can’t wait. Yes, I might make a joke. I can’t help it sometimes. But that doesn’t mean I’m hate-watching. If I'm truly hate-watching, I'm miserable. I’m watching because I assume the experience will bring me pleasure. I’m expecting to like ‘Peter Pan Live,’ even if it's bad. And, right now, more than ever, it really feels good to like something.

Perhaps it was all his years training as a musical theater dancer at Washington Dance Studio, or perhaps it was his turn in Fatboy Slim's "Weapon of Choice" music video, but one thing is for sure -- Christopher Walken sure loves to bust a move in his movies. Need proof? How about this definitive supercut of his skills in action?

Matt had just typed out the title of his 'Seven Psychopaths' review, his byline, and the rating (seven -- no, make that eight --out of ten?) when his wife Melissa walked into the room. "How was the movie?" she asked as she flopped down on the couch and flipped on the television. "Good. Really good," Matt replied. "Interesting." "Interesting? Why interesting?"

"Did you ever take a picture of your nose?" "Of course." That is why this video of Christopher Walken cooking dinner for Richard Belzer is great. That, and pancake anecdotes, a mandolin player and the two hot assistants who prove completely incapable of opening a bottle of wine...
