Miss Suzie is a sweet little lady that only weighs 46 pounds. She's a black, white and tan Beagle, Basset mix. She has an extremely sweet personality and has already been taught to sit, stay and shake. Christy an Animal Control Officer said "Suzie was an owner turn in, simply because the owner could no longer afford to feed herself let along her dog too. So after eight years Susie's owner brought her here to the Animal Control Shelter. She needs to go to a good home."

Charlie is a super sweet little guy that only weighs 13 pounds. He's a tan Chihuahua Terrier mix. This little guy has the most awesome personality to match. Arron Vannoy, Animal Control Shelter Director says "Charlie was seized from his previous owners because of animal cruelty. Charlie had his collar and chain embedded into his neck. But now, after many extensive days at a local vet this little bundle of love is ready for a home full of love and owners that will take good care of him."

Kramer is a super sweet little guy that only weighs 22 pounds. He's a tan and white Cardigan Welsh Corgi mix, with all the right markings and the most awesome personality to match. Larry with the Animal Control Shelter says "Kramer came in as a stray with no tags and was never recovered by his original owners, but I can tell this is someones expensive house dog. I'm not for sure but I believe he could be house broken, you just never know." Kramer is sweet but very lonely.

Rescue the Animals, KEAN 105 and the City of Abilene have teamed up together to offer West Texans half price dogs and cats from the Abilene Animal Control Shelter. Spring is near and the fact is, there will be an increase of puppies and kittens at the shelter, so we are trying to head off an over-crowding problem before it ever occurs.
