9th Annual Autism Extravaganza Comes to Abilene Christian University February 6th

The Abilene Region 14 Education Service Center and the Autism Speaks foundation are hosting the "9th Annual Autism Extravaganza" and the “Greater Abilene Walk Now for Autism Speaks” kick-off luncheon at the ACU Hunter Welcome Center, Wednesday, February 6th. This years featured speaker is John Elder Robison, author and lecturer. Robison will share his unique experiences as a person living with Asperger Syndrome.

Abilene Christian University (ACU) will be host the most fun family event ever. It's the 'ACU Mingle and Jingle Christmas Celebration', featuring hot chocolate, cookies, a movie and Aaron Watson Live. This is a fundraiser of sorts , admission will be one new, unwrapped toy per family for needy Abilene children. Mingle and Jingle a Christmas Celebration is open to everyone that wants to attend.

Abilene Christian University (ACU) will be hosting a homecoming celebration to beat the band. Complete with a carnival, a concert and a fireworks show. All on ACU's campus this coming Friday, October 19th. All events are open to the public. As I experienced earlier this year, when it comes to ACU's athletics celebrations they go all out. This Friday will be no exception, check it out.
