The Oscars will be presented on Sunday, February 24th but on Saturday, the 23rd you can make your way to he Abilene Civic Center for "Lights,Camera...the Oscars" presented by the Abilene Philharmonic. They will be accompanying guest artists Michele Ragusa and Sean MacGlaughlin.

The series of chamber concerts will feature the tremendous talent found on the orchestras stage without the need for a conductor. The Nocturne Project forces the musicians to work together and to listen more intently all the while challenging them to work better as a group. The Nocturne Project concerts and are meant to enhance the Philharmonic's regular season. 'The Nocturne Project' is kind of like the "Orpheus Chamber Orchestra" from New York City.
