We haven't heard very much on the front of The CW's purported 'Supernatural' spinoff in the way that 'Arrow''s 'The Flash' has made headlines, but at long last, it seems we have a bit of forward movement. The network has officially ordered a pilot episode of the proposed spinoff, whose new title suggests that "Tribes" will play a big part of the conflicted Chicago monster scene.

According to the network's most recent bout of pilot orders for the 2014-2015 season, the proposed 'Supernatural' spinoff will bear the title 'Supernatural: Tribes,' though we wouldn't be surprised if the networks conjured up something a bit more original, ironically akin to 'The Originals' and 'The Vampire Diaries.' That said, 'Supernatural: Tribes' will still "explore the clashing hunter and monster cultures of Chicago."

'Supernatural' writer Andrew Dabb will pen the script, executive producing alongside Eric Kripke, Robert Singer, showrunner Jeremy Carver and McG. Singer will also direct the pilot, which will still likely emerge as a backdoor pilot later on in the current 'Supernatural' season.

Many more details will likely emerge in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, what do you think? Is the 'Supernatural' world all but played out, or could monster hunting find new life in the 'Supernatural: Tribes' of Chicago? Tell us what you want to see from a spinoff in the comments!
