Kyle Busch took the lead from Joey Logano in the closing laps to win the AdvoCare 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday night. Busch used several cautions over the last 50 laps of the race to come from behind, before moving to the front of the pack for good. He narrowly held off Logano at the finish line.

The victory guaranteed Busch a spot in the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship, which starts Sept. 15 at Chicagoland Speedway.

Martin Truex Jr. took third, while Kurt Busch and Ryan Newman rounded out the top five.

Sprint Cup series points leader Jimmie Johnson finished 28th. Johnson now leads second-place Clint Bowyer by 28 points, with Carl Edwards and Kevin Harvick tied for third at 42 points off the lead.
