You can excuse this minstrel of the roadway for going up an octave or two.

Travis Carpenter was singing while making the drive from Indianapolis to Whitewater, Wisc. when his car hydroplaned and he slid down the road and into a hill. It was a shocking development that caught him by surprise.

And, like that boy in your glee club who no one can understand how he's a falsetto, the surprises kept coming. As Carpenter writes in his YouTube description, "I sustained NO injuries. Not even a scratch. And my car took NO mechanical damage and is completely driveable. Only body damage."

Wow -- he managed to walk away with nary a cut and his car is still good to go? Now, that's something to sing about.
