Sheryl Crow to Release New Country Album September 10th

Sheryl Crow has been in music for over 20 years but is best known for her pop/rock/folk hits. She is now moving in a new direction with a country album to be released later this year. It's not her first country song but having a whole country album is brand new territory to the singer. But if her first single 'Easy' is any indication it's going to be a smooth transition for her.

Crow moved to the Nashville 'Music City' area about 7 years ago and she says it was the best thing ever. She felt at home and was welcomed by the community of singer/songwriters. Even being invited by Vince Gill to do guitar pulls around town.

Crow says “It’s the thing I’ve been missing my whole career, the feeling of being able to sit around with a guitar and have people know each other’s songs and know songs from people who’ve influenced all of us.”

She's been doing a mini-tour of radio stations to promote the single and upcoming album 'Feels Like Home' which will be released September 10th.
