Sure, sure, many of us are planning for yet more cold weather, but the Country Music Association is trying to get us to warm our thoughts with its annual summer music festival in Nashville.

In its first round of press releases, the CMA has announced that some of the country’s biggest and hottest stars are scheduled to play the 2011 CMA Music Festival.
Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire are on that list. Also announced: Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, The Band Perry, Martina McBride and Darius Rucker.

And, while Sheryl Crow has made an appearance here and there, 2011 will be her first year to shine on the big stage with her own full set. She openly admits to being a HUGE country music fan. Welcome Sheryl what took you so long?

The CMA Music Fest takes place June 9–12, and it’ll be taped again this year for an ABC special.
