to a 16-second video in which he says, ''We did it; 19 years, baby. Thank you very much. That's why I'm telling you first: I'm about to retire. Love you. Talk to you soon.''

Shaq has had leg injuries that have kept him from playing much the last few seasons.  Playing for the Orlando Magic, LA Lakers, Miami Heat Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers and now with the Boston Celtics  Shaq has played for and with some of the best NBA players around.  He's won 4 NBA titles and has been named league MVP.  He has many accolades and many ventures outside of basketball to keep him busy though.  If he follows in Jordan's shoes, he may be back a time or two!!
