Shania Twain fans, rejoice! After a long wait for new music, the country superstar debuted her new single on Saturday night (April 29) at the 2017 Stagecoach Festival.

Fan-shot footage captured the debut of "Life's About to Get Good," which is the first single from a new album Twain is set to release later in the year. Twain has said that the album draws extensively on her divorce from her former producer, Robert John "Mutt" Lange, and that certainly seems true of the first single, in which she sings, "I wasn't just broken, I was shattered / I trusted you so much, you're all that mattered."

The verses of the song mingle the kind of contemporary pop-country on which Twain built her career with a jaunty acoustic guitar riff, but she employs a gospel lift for the chorus, which delivers a more uplifting message, ending with, "Life's about, life's about to get good."

It was a song that helped lift her out of that period of her life.

“I was at home, looking out at the ocean, and I said to myself, ‘Here I am stuck in this past of negativity, but it’s so beautiful out. I’m not in the mood to write a feeling-sorry-for-myself song,’” Twain shared in a statement. “You can’t have the good without the bad. And that’s what the song ended up being about.”

Twain will release "LIfe's About to Get Good" to radio in June, followed by an all-new album in September. It's her first album since Up! in 2002.

Other titles on the album include “Light of My Life” and “I’m Alright.” The project features a song about her divorce from Lange titled “Who’s Gonna Be Your Girl.”
