Sam Hunt maybe new to some of us but he's actually been around longer than you think; it's just been more behind the scenes. Hunt is a songwriter who has written hits for Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney and Billy Currington to name a few. Now Hunt is hitting the stage as a performer.

Sam is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, former football player. He was the starting quarterback for the University of Alabama and the Kansas City Chief's took notice of his ability. The team invited him to training camp but a career in football wasn't to be so Hunt moved to Nashville and signed with a publishing company. He began writing songs full-time.

Kenny Chesney recorded Come Over co-written by Hunt and Keith Urban recorded Cop Car written by Hunt as well. Writing for others was great but Hunt eventually wanted to record his own music. In 2013 he released Between the Pines a free mix-tape of some of his songs. Soon after he signed with Universal/MCA Nashville and would release his debut album Montevallo and spawned a #1 hit with Leave the Night On.
