Rudy Meets With the New Abilene City Manager

Thanks to everyone that commented on or shared 'Rudy Takes on the City', because of you, I was afforded a meeting with the new Abilene City Manager Robert Hanna.

Robert was kind enough to listen and consider some suggestions. I believe he is truly concerned and wants to bring improvement to Abilene and the code department. While my concerns were about the process, punishment and how Code Enforcement works. I think we made progress toward improving and understanding the City and the citizens.

In defense of the City Code Department and Inspectors, Robert informed me that they are following State law. The letter and it's content's, was brought about by our State Legislators.
