The RTX New Music Challenge: JB and the Moonshine Band vs. Kevin Fowler [POLL/AUDIO]

I can’t lie. This is gonna be tough — for you, I mean. We’ve got JB and the Moonshine Band‘s new single “No Better Than This” going up against Kevin Fowler‘s “Here’s to Me and You.” Both great songs, but only one can be crowned King of the Summer Song 2012.

At first look one can’t help but assume JBMB to be tremendous underdogs, going up against longtime Texas Music powerhouse Kevin Fowler. But the guys are up for the challenge, JB said so.

First up, it’s JB and the Moonshine Band. The guys are riding high courtesy of their first No. 1 song, “Beer for Breakfast,” which reached to top of the Texas charts for one week back in May. And they’re looking to punctuate that with their second No. 1.

Will “No Better Than This” do better than that? Take a listen to it.

Kevin Fowler, on the other hand, hasn’t released a song without it shooting to the top spot in well over 10 years (I didn’t verify that.) His new single will undoubtedly do the same.

It’s another great summertime song, so check out “Here’s to Me and You.”
