Rockets Win Big, Thunder Lose 1st in 5 Games, Stars Skate Past Oilers

The Houston Rockets came up with a must-needed win last night as they slipped past the Warriors. The Oklahoma City Thunder fell a bit and experienced their 1st loss in 5 games. Over in NHL, the Dallas Stars had a big night against the Edmonton Oilers.

Houston 116 – GOLDEN STATE 107... James Harden shook off a knee injury to score 27 points in leading the Rockets past the Warriors. Omer Asik added 13 points and 15 boards. Houston had five other players score in double figures.

UTAH 109 - Oklahoma City 94... The Jazz came up big in the second half to hand the Thunder their first loss in five games. Al Jefferson scored 23 points to lead six players in double figures. Paul Millsap had 18 points and 10 boards.

TORONTO 109 - Denver 108... Rudy Gay's jumper with less than five seconds remaining lifted the Raptors over the short-handed Nuggets. DeMar DeRozan scored 22 points to lead five players in double figures.

MIAMI 117 – Portland 104... The Heat pulled away from the Trail Blazers on a record-setting night in Miami. LeBron James scored 30 points and shot at least 60 percent for the sixth straight game to set a league mark. Chris Bosch poured in 32 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Dwyane Wade added 24 points.

MEMPHIS 108 - Sacramento 101... The Grizzlies got 24 points from Marc Gasol and 22 from Mike Conley in downing the Kings. Gasol also grabbed 12 rebounds. Tony Allen contributed a season-high 19 points.

L.A. LAKERS 91 – Phoenix 85... The Lakers recovered from a disastrous third quarter to outscore the Suns 26-14 in the fourth and escape with the victory. Dwight Howard and Antawn Jamison scored 19 points apiece. Howard brought down 18 rebounds. Jamison had 10.
