Restaurants Serving Thanksgiving Dinner In Abilene
Thanksgiving is just around the corner and, let’s face it, the holidays are stressful as people are preparing for family and friends to come over to throw down some turkey and dressing. Maybe this year, you’re just not really up to having to cook and clean, then clean again after everybody leaves. So, instead, maybe you want to skip all of the stress and let somebody else cook for you. Never fear, there are restaurants in Abilene serving Thanksgiving dinner.
Golden Corral is one of my favorite places to throw down mass quantities of grub. They have just about everything in the world on their buffet. So, it makes sense that they’ll be serving Thanksgiving dinner. Golden Corral will be open from 10a.m. to 8p.m. on Thanksgiving Day and, in addition to their normal food, will be serving up all of your traditional favorites like turkey, ham, dressing and all of the fixins plus they will be serving their regular food as well. The buffet will cost around $12.99, plus $1.99 for your drink. Golden Corral is located at 4101 S. Danville Dr.
Cracker Barrel is another restaurant in Abilene that will not only be open, but will be serving up some Thanksgiving favorites. Turkey, ham, dressing, cranberry relish, sweet potato casserole -they will have it all. Plus their regular food will be available as well. This year, you can get your turkey dinner to go, or just go to the restaurant and get your grub on. A meal for 6 people to go will cost $54 plus tax. If you eat at Cracker Barrel, adults pay $9.99, while kids eat for $4.99. They serve Thanksgiving dinner from 11am to 10pm.
Denny’s will be open and serving up your Thanksgiving favorites like turkey, dressing, pie and more. Plus, they also have a sandwich called The Gobble Melt, which is basically a huge turkey sandwich smothered with swiss cheese on potato bread. The turkey dinner will be $8.99 for adults, and $7.59 for seniors. Denny’s has two locations in Abilene at 120 East I-20 and 2214 South Clack.
