Red Dirt Music Artist Susan Herndon Plays Sweetwater Saturday November 10th [VIDEO]
Live music, on a regular basis is back in Sweetwater, it’s being put on by the same folks that have the ‘Texas Theater,’ Vicki and Weston Pyburn. The Pyburn’s are big ‘Texas/Red Dirt Music’ fans, so it’s no wonder there’s been as bit of activity at Java Jax. Hudson Moore recently played Java Jax and now Oklahoma picker Susan Herndon is scheduled to appear this Saturday November 10th.
Susan Herndon’s latest album, is a collection of music style’s that range from country to rock to blues and more. Susan has got a beautiful voice (she doesn’t sound like most of the Texas Music female vocalists) and she’s a pretty good songwriter too. Susan’s last album, ‘1,000 Pies,’ as it says on her bio “contains tunes ranging from sweet acoustic ballads to straight up country, rock and roll, and even a little red dirt jazz.” Recently Susan has been touring in venues from Texas to Washington state and from Florida to California. There’s no place this girl won’t go to sing her songs and we’re lucky enough to get her here in West Texas at Java Jax next Saturday.
