Randy Travis attended fellow country singer James Dupré's wedding over the weekend and lit up when his hit "I Told You So" was played during the reception.

In this Facebook video, the Country Music Hall of Famer is seen singing along with the song. The video was captured by Dupré's brother, Ashton. Jude Walker at 97.3 the Dawg in Lafayette, La., shared the video with Taste of Country, adding that James Dupré is a good friend to the radio station.

The moment is remarkable for several reasons: Of course fans of Travis' appreciate any sort of update on his health and rehabilitation following his 2013 stroke, and this video shows him using his left arm easily and enjoying singing to his hit from 1988. It also shows that Travis and Dupré have remained friends after filming a movie called The Price in 2013. It would become Travis' final movie appearance and went straight to DVD in 2015. At the time, Dupré told Rolling Stone Country how he was surprised by Travis' generosity.

“Before I even had a chance to worry, he came up to me and shook my hand, pulled out his guitar and said he wanted to show me a new song he'd written," he recalled. "I couldn't believe it! So we jammed out for a bit, then went to work."

Travis' public appearances have been frequent over the last five years. He's surprised artists like Scotty McCreery and Kane Brown at shows. Luke Bryan stopped his 2018 CMA Fest set to recognize him. And of course, he sang to close the show opener at the 50th Annual CMA Awards in 2016.
