Randy Travis is Set to Release New Album “Influence VOL. 1: The Man I Am”
Randy Travis is making headlines now days, but this time it's about his newest project. The seven time Grammy award winning country music legend is releasing his 21st studio album. Travis' latest project is titled "Influence VOL. 1: The Man I Am" and it's due in stores on October 1st. The thirteen song project is a collection of songs and/or country music artists that influenced him throughout his career.
Travis lists Merle Haggard, George Jones, Lefty Frizzell, George Jones, Ernest Tubb, Kris Kristofferson, Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, Waylon Jennings and Carrie Underwood as the superstars that have inspired him over the years.
Randy Travis says “When I think of my musical heroes of yesteryear, or the younger stars of this year, I am reminded that it is true we learn from the ones ahead of us, and teach the ones that follow. They are the reason I chose to make this album.”
