The Randy Rogers Band is a Texas band that has the best fans ever. In fact, it's that incredibly loyal fan base that has helped them become as successful as they are; however, that's not to take away from the pure talent these guys possess. The crowds they were drawing at concerts coupled with their singing, writing and drive to be the best helped them catch the eye of Nashville. After years of hard work on the roads of Texas, playing every nook and cranny around they finally find their music touching people on a national level (and that's not a bad thing).

Randy learned to play the piano and guitar at an early age, even writing songs as a pre-teen. Randy formed a band with some college buddies and released their first album in 2000. It was a live album recorded at Cheatham St. Warehouse. In 2002 two they released their first studio album. Two more albums followed in 2004 and 2005 then in 2006 they signed with a major label,Mercury Nashville. In 2007 Rolling Stone magazine even ranked them with the likes of U2 and the Rolling Stones as a 'must see' band.

They have opened for some of the biggest names in country music, including Willie Nelson. Plus, they pulled in over 2.5 million dollars in 2007, for a band just starting out that is an incredible feat. That could not be achieved without the fan base they have developed.

Even with signing a 'Nashville' deal, they have stayed true to themselves, their music and  the fans. The fans in return give them their loyalty and support.  2008 and 2010 saw 2 more albums released by the band racking up even more hits. Their current release 'Satellite' has already hit #1 on the Texas Chart and is about to make a big splash on the National charts.

Don't forget Randy Rogers will be here for our Taste of Country Concert Series July 18th at the Lucky Mule. Click here for all the details.
