Pantone Releases the 2016 Color of the Year

The latest Pantone colors of the season have been released and for the first time ever it's actually a blending of two colors.

I shared with you back in the fall the colors for winter and how they are chosen. Now the colors for spring have been chosen; Rose Quartz and Serenity (a light blue w/purple undertone). A mix of a warm tone and a cool tone that are meant to bring peace and a soothing sense of order.

Now these two colors can be paired with a multitude of colors like browns, greens, purples and yellows to expand the pallet. These colors can range in purpose from home decor to clothing.

These colors are just what we need right now. They are meant to bring a softer, warmer, more soothing feel to our world creating, hopefully, a gentler approach to our daily endeavors.
