More than 160 games were created in ten days during the Ouya game jam. That's a whole lotta games.

In a partnership with Kill Screen, Ouya hosted a development game jam, where creators had ten days to create an Android game that would serve as prototypes for the Ouya console. When it was all said and done, there were 166 games left standing.

Now, the jam moves on to the judging portion, where Phil Fish (Fez), and Felicia Day (The Guild), will be among the panel deciding which games will win. Up for grabs is a $20,000 prize (with a $5,000 bonus for actually launching on Ouya), for the overall winner, as well as five other $5,000 ($1,000 bonus), winners in select categories.

Ouya CEO Julie Uhrman said the types of games ran the gamut from RPGs to dungeon-crawlers, from four-player shooters to puzzle games, and more. "If this is what OUYA developers can do in 10 days, imagine what they can do once OUYA is out in the wild," Uhrman stated.
