I keep hearing everybody I share my love for the outdoors with, complain that "Abilene needs a Cabela's". Well here's the next best thing.

As far as I'm concerned I can find and get anything I want right here in Abilene. Either from our local Academy Sports and Outdoors, Big 5 sporting goods or best of all yet, save on the taxes and order online from my

favorite place of all The Sportsman's Guide, it is a clearinghouse for everything outdoors and it's pretty reasonable too. I get catalogs and discount codes via email several times a week. But if your still hankering for Cabela's you can shop them online as well, but check the prices I'll bet you'll find some real savings online just by checking things out. In closing, really nothing beats being inside a store the sounds, the smells,  the feeling and touching and best of all yet the clearance items like all of last years models marked down for a quick sale.
