Less than one week after checking out of rehab against his doctor’s orders, actor Nick Stahl has gone missing again, prompting friends and family members to reach out to the media for assistance in possibly finding him.

“He’s been missing for four days,” Stahl’s wife, Rose Murphy, told E! News. “But I don’t want to comment any further.”

The site says Stahl, 32, stayed at a friend’s house after leaving rehab, and was spotted in downtown Los Angeles before disappearing last Thursday night. A friend told E!:

Now he’s disappeared. We can’t find him anywhere. He has not made contact with anyone. We are all just desperately looking for him. … Everyone just wants him to come home. It’s a terrible situation. We are searching, but we’ve had no solid leads.

Stahl pulled a disappearing act back in May, only to resurface after a week. He checked himself into rehab, claiming to seek the help that he needed.
