NFL Replacement Referees Appear to be Gone Soon as Regular Officials Eye Return as Soon as Sunday

ESPN Reports that the lock-out between NFL and NFL Referees could come to an end very soon, thanks to productive negotiations Tuesday night.

One can only assume that the blown call on the final play at the end of the Monday Night Football game between Seattle and Green Bay was the spark that fueled the negotiations. Regardless, we’re definitely ready to see some better officiated games from here on out. Does this mean there won’t be blown calls? Absolutely not, as even the ‘real’ officials are human and make mistakes. But, having the likes of Ed Hochuli on the field will definitely strengthen the integrity of the game.

Watch Chris Mortenson, of ESPN, as he reports on the pending end to the lock-out.
