New Technology Sends Warnings Via Text Message [VIDEO]

My last few post have been about keeping you updated on the latest technology.  There will now be new "text" alerts sent to your smartphones in case of emergencies.  You could even get a text from the President himself.This is going to be tried in New York and soon phone makers will make it available on all smartphones in the future if all goes well.  There are 3 types of messages you could receive, with the option of receiving the last two.  First would be a text from the President in cases of terror threats.  Second would be in cases of imminent danger, tornadoes and such.  Third would be Amber Alerts.  This is still in it's infancy and there are many questions still to be answered but it could be a good thing.
