My Puerto Rico Vacation: Part II [PHOTOS]
I told you Monday of a few of my adventures in Puerto Rico but didn’t have all my photos of other events. Well now I do and I would like to share a little more of my vacation with you. I talked about my visits to the El Yunque Rainforest. We also did the zip line adventure and went snorkeling and kayaking. This was my second experience zip lining and it was just as fun as the first time. Flying through the jungle over the trees is exhilarating to say the least.
I had never before snorkeled but I’ve always wanted to. I’m a huge fan of the ocean and tropical fish. My bedroom and bathrooms are decorated to reflect such. I finally got to see the underwater world with my own eyes and it was incredible. Sea turtles, fishes, jelly fish, coral all in beautiful clear Caribbean waters.
These photos were taken by the Kayaking Puerto Rico staff. They photo document your trip for you so you don’t have to take expensive cameras with you. I had the cheap water cameras and my pics were a little grainy so I used a few of the photos they took.
This was a kayaking/snorkeling adventure, but it’s hard to take pics of yourself kayaking! We kayaked out 3/4 of a mile got out snorkeled for an hour or more then kayaked back in, had a snack and then just snorkeled the coast line.
There were jelly fish as you can see and yes a couple of people did get stung, including my boyfriend. He jumped out of the kayak right on top of one!
I loved the snorkeling; it’s so peaceful, colorful and relaxing to just swim along the surface and see all the life below. It’s something you don’t get to see everyday and I think I could just live the rest of my life snorkeling.
Just watch out for the strange creatures you may encounter below! They might just follow you home.
