Most People in Abilene Think New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick is a Sore Loser – Do You Agree?

Well, it’s settled. New England Patriots head coach, Bill Belichick, is a sore loser – at least in the eyes of Abilene.

In a recent poll we conducted on this site, an overwhelming 89% voted that the grumpy, hoodie wearing head coach of the Pats is, in fact, a sore loser.  Besides, his latest snub, Belichick has a long history of not granting interviews after a tough loss, has grabbed a ref and been fined, and, of course, who could forget about the infamous ‘Spygate’ scandal.

Now, while all of this has been going on, nobody can argue the fact that he is a great coach.  With the Patriots alone, he has a 151-57 record, 22-17 in the playoffs and won 3 Super Bowls in 4 years.  The dude is a genius of a coach, but apparently is just not real social with the media.  Maybe he just needs a hug from Manti Te’o's girlfriend?

As awesome of a coach as he is, Belichick needs to show way more class than he has shown.  I mean nobody likes to lose, but nobody likes a sore loser either.  You would think after all of his years in coaching, he would have figured all of this out by now.

In my opinion, I agree 100% with what Shannon Sharpe said about Belichick directly after the Ravens beat the Patriots in the AFC Championship game.  There is something to be said about being gracious, even in defeat.

Do you agree that Bill Belichick is sore loser?  Who else in sports do you think has been notorious for being a sore loser?
