Stylish Coat-Wearing Monkey Found Roaming Toronto Ikea

Shoppers at an Ikea in Toronto, Canada were surprised to find a very well-dressed monkey wondering around the store’s parking lot Sunday.
And, no, this wasn’t part of an attempt to keep customers entertained as they searched for holiday gifts. According to authorities, the primate, who had been left in a parked car, was able to both unlock his crate and the car’s door.
Wearing a tiny shearling coat and diaper, the rhesus macaque looked quite striking as it aimlessly roamed the parking lot. Needless to say, many photos were taken.
âIt was pretty surreal,â said shopper Lisa Lin, who snapped a shot of the little fellow. âI thought âIs that really a monkey?â Who brings a monkey to Ikea?â
Store employees were able to lead the monkey — who they described as “scared” — into the Ikea. He was picked up a little later by animal control officials, who eventually got in contact with the fashion forward little guy’s owner.
More photos of the monkey’s big day out are below.

Oh, wait. That one’s from ‘Monkey Trouble.’
