Miranda Lambert’s Grammy Nomination for ‘Mama’s Broken Heart’ Has Her ‘Thrilled’

When the 56th Grammy Awards show air on CBS January 26th, Miranda Lambert will be looking for her second gramophone trophy for “Mama’s Broken Heart”. But even though the country star has been there, done that, Lambert has expressed her excitement over the nomination.

Miranda is up for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song for her platinum selling hit single, “Mama’s Broken Heart”. She’s  According to Nashville Love, she said:

I’m so thrilled to have a Grammy nomination with such a great song. “Mamas Broken Heart is one of my favorite songs I have recorded. It’s also unique to be in the same category with my very talented husband. I am proud to be part of the wonderful country music family!”

Miranda won her first Grammy Award in 2010 for Best Female Country Vocal Performance for “The House That Built Me.” The 56th Grammy Awards airs Sunday, January 26th at 7pm Central time on CBS. Here’s a look at the full list of country category Grammy nominees:
