Miley Cyrus channeled her godmother, Dolly Parton, during Miley Week on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. On Wednesday evening (Oct. 4), Cyrus and Fallon dressed up as Parton and Kenny Rogers to recreate their classic 1983 Grammy Awards performance of "Islands in the Stream," and the resemblance from both was uncanny.

The late-night host portrayed Rogers, complete with a white beard, salt and pepper coif and tuxedo. After he began the song's first verse, Cyrus made her dazzling entrance in a gown with a slit up her leg and a blonde wig that rivals Parton's. The two friends then serenaded each other with "Islands in the Stream" while holding back laughter. Watch the fun duet above.

Below is the Grammy performance from Parton and Rogers in 1983. The song reached No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart that year, giving both Rogers and Parton their second pop chart-topper.

Before she took the stage Wednesday evening, Cyrus previewed her performance with a clip on Twitter. In the video, she wrote, "Good Golly Miss Dolly! Being my own fairy godmother today!"

Cyrus has no shortage of famous family members. The singer recently shared the stage with her dad during her album release party in Nashville. On Sept. 29, Cyrus celebrated her sixth full-length album Younger Now by taking over the rooftop of Nashville’s famed honky-tonk, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge. The night included her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, hopping on stage to perform his 1992 hit “Achy Breaky Heart” with her.
