Michelle Duggar Suffers Miscarriage Of 20th Child [VIDEO]

Michelle Duggar,45, and her husband Jim Bob were expecting their 20th child in April but have announced that she suffered a miscarriage. They had not picked a name yet but say they will have one chosen before the funeral. All their children's names start with a "J".

Jim Bob and Michelle currently star in their own reality television show "19 Kids and Counting" on the TLC channel. All of this will be documented in the show I'm sure.

The couple had gone in for a routine doctors visit and were hoping to learn the sex of the child when the bad news was learned. Michelle says the family had just the night before been discussing possible names with the family and that they are all very disappointed but also says it's all up to God. They weren't meant to have this child.

This is Michelle's second miscarriage, the first was during her second pregnancy and she was on birth control at the time. She says that's when they decided to leave it all up to God and she quit taking birth control. Her last pregnancy with her 19th child Josie was a difficult pregnancy and Josie was born prematurely at 25 weeks.

Jim Bob released a statement earlier on the TLC website:
"Earlier today at a routine doctor's appointment, Michelle and I received the sad news that we lost the baby. Michelle is resting comfortably at home with the support of the entire family. We are grateful for all the thoughts and prayers, but ask for privacy during this difficult time." -- Jim Bob Duggar
