McMurry University’s Christmas Light Show on December 4th will feature a live Holiday Band Concert and you're invited. Come and enjoy Christmas music, hot chocolate and cookies, and see this year’s McMurry Christmas Light Show in front of the Furr Welcome Center. A reception will be held inside the Furr Welcome Center immediately following the lighting ceremony.

What will make this years lighting event more spectacular is the special one-hour free holiday concert by the McMurry University Band beginning at 7:30 p.m. inside the Radford Auditorium. The concert will feature the McMurry Wind Ensemble, conducted by David Robinson and special guest conductor David Wallis, the McMurry Jazz Band will be conducted by Mark Wilcox. Musical performances will include 'Christmas Music for Winds' by John Cacavas and 'Sleigh Ride' by Leroy Anderson, 'Second Suite' for Military Band by Gustav Holst, 'Procession of Nobles' by Rimski-Korsakov, and 'Salvation is Created' by Pavel Tschesnokoff.
