While it remains to be seen if Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' will return any other famous Marvel characters to the screen in tonight's third episode, "The Asset" will at least see the rise of a new force in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. 'Luck' star Ian Hart makes his first appearance as comic character Dr. Franklin Hall, better known as "Graviton," and our first clip of the character in action has arrived. So how has the gravity of the situation shifted?

Unlike last week's clip from "The Asset," the latest look at Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' unfolds as pure action, with a S.H.I.E.L.D. convoy set upon by a mysteriously unseen force that tosses trucks around like toy cars. When an extraction team arrives to liberate the convoy's mysterious cargo, the interior of the truck may prove a surprise that unleashes a deadly new opponent for the team.

From Marvel’s official press description of “The Asset”:

“The Asset” – When the brilliant scientist, Dr. Franklin Hall, is kidnapped, Agent Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. agents must race against the clock to locate him. Skye is their only way in–pushing the team to their limits when the entire plan turns upside-down.

Guest starring are Ian Hart as Dr. Franklin Hall, David Conrad as Ian Quinn, Josh Cowdery as Agent Tyler, Bodie Newcomb as Agent Mack, Scott Subiono as Todd Chesterfield, Vachik Mangassarian as Qasim Zaghlul, Assaf Cohen as translator, Brandon Molale as Quinn’s main guard.

We haven't yet heard of any major surprises to pop up in 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.''s credits tonight, but let's not forget about the surprises to come from this weekend's New York Comic-Con panel! In the meantime, check out a new sneak peek of tonight's "The Asset" above, and give us your predictions in the comments.
